Interior Painters Eureka Tower, Melbourne

About The Building

The Eureka Tower, located right in the Melbourne Central Business District, stands at an impressive 297.3 meters. It is currently the second tallest building in Australia (only behind Q1 on the Gold Coast) and at one point, it even had the record of world’s tallest residential tower.

But what makes this 4-star aparthotel stand out isn’t just its height and structure. It’s got the perfect central location, ideal for those travelling for business and those on a holiday. You can take a 20 to 30-minute stroll to the Melbourne SEA LIFE Aquarium, as well as Melbourne Park, which is home to Rod Laver Arena and Melbourne Cricket Ground.

And let’s not forget about the Eureka Skydeck at the top of the tower itself! It treats guests and tourists with a 360-degree panoramic view of Melbourne’s city and surrounding areas. That alone makes the Eureka Tower an attractive place to experience living in, even for just a short while.

Tony owns a beautiful apartment in the Eureka Tower that he contacted us to repaint. We wanted to do the best job possible, so in order to achieve that, we redid the walls with a super bright white. Our aim was to give the whole unit a more modern, fresher look.

We used the Dulux Wash & Wear Low Sheen which, equipped with 101 Barrier Technology, is a type of paint that produces a hard wearing acrylic finish. This allows you to wipe off most common stains, marks and scuffs quite easily – by simply using a wet cloth. The Wash & Wear can actually make your walls look newly painted for years. And that is what we’re confident about regarding Tony’s place.

Also, we used high gloss enamel, which is oil-based with superior flow and levelling, to give the doors and woodwork a distinct shiny finish. It’s a simple and rather traditional technique, yet there is no doubt it’s an effective one. It yielded great results that complemented our home painting work with the walls of Tony’s apartment.
